The tournament is open to all male and female bowlers who were 21 years of age or younger as of August 1, 2010.

The scratch division entry fee is $150 per bowler for entries paid by July 1, 2011. The handicap division entry fee is $130 per bowler for entries paid by July 1, 2011. Entry fee paid after July 1, 2011 is $160 for the scratch division and $140 for the handicap division.

The tournament will consist of two divisions, scratch and handicap. Bowlers may choose to compete in either division. In the handicap division, 80% of the difference between the bowler's average and 200 will be added to each game.

40% of all entrants (in each division) will advance to the semi-final round. In the scratch division (only), a minimum of 20% of the female entrants will advance to the semi-finals, and be among the 40% of the entrants who advance to the semi-finals.

There will be one scholarship prize awarded for each six participants in each division. Additional scholarship prizes will be available through various optional programs.

Scholarship prizes may be claimed after the bowler has completed one semester  of college with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0. Prizes may also be used for trade schools and/or other continuing education after graduation from high school. All requests will be considered on an individual basis.

Proper dress and behavior is expected of all participants. Collared shirts are suggested.  Shorts are permitted. Bowlers are NOT permitted to wear hats, tank tops, clothing with offensive language or graphics, or any apparel which the tournament director feels is inappropriate. Smoking is not permitted. Bowlers who use foul language, obscene gestures or abuse equipment will be subject to disqualification, as determined by the tournament director.

AVERAGES: Handicap division bowlers are to submit their highest final league average for 21 games or more for the 2010-11 season. Bowlers with a Junior Bowlers Tour (JBT) average for 21 games or more in the 2010-11 season  will use that average.  All bowlers are subject to the JBT average re-rating rules.  All handicap division bowlers MUST submit average verification (league standings sheet, average book, etc.) for the 2010-11 season.

SUPER MATCH-PLAY SEMI-FINALS: In each game of the Super Match-Play round, all bowlers will be competing against ALL of the other bowlers in their division. Bowlers will receive a ten pin bonus for each bowler he/she defeats (five pins for a tie). Example: If there are 60 bowlers in Super Match-Play, the bowler who rolls the highest game will "win" 59 matches and receive 590 bonus pins; the second highest bowler will "win" 58 matches and receive 580 bonus pins. This will continue for eight games to determine the 12 finalists in each division.

FINALS FORMAT:

Match One: The bowlers who qualified 5th through 12th will be paired to form four one-on-one matches. The four winners will advance to Match Two.

Match Two: The four remaining bowlers from Match One will be joined by the bowlers who qualified 1st through 4th, and will be paired to form four one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to Match Three.

Match Three: The four remaining bowlers will be paired to form two one-on-one matches. The winner of each of these matches will advance to the Championship Match and bowl for the title.

Match Pairings: In all rounds, the highest seeded remaining bowler will face the lowest seeded remaining bowler. The higher seeded bowler must win one game to win the match and advance to the next match; the lower seeded bowler must win two consecutive games to win the match and advance.

IMPORTANT: Final position of the top 12 bowlers will be based on the round in which they are eliminated from the finals. Final standings for bowlers eliminated in the same round will be based on their 20-GAME qualifying total (including bonus pins), NOT their last game bowled in the finals.

All rules not specifically covered will be governed by the rules of the Junior Bowlers Tour.  The tournament director reserves all rights regarding all rules, assignment of averages and the operation of the tournament.
