JBT RESULTS
The JBT currently has four conferences (New Jersey, New England, New York, Delaware Valley)
and covers nine states, conducting tournaments on a weekly basis. Approximately
80-100 tournaments are conducted during the season, with the results published
on this website and in the JBT News, which is available at each tournament.
ENTRY BLANKS AND RULES
Entry blanks for upcoming events and the general rules of the Junior Bowlers Tour are available
on this web site. Rules on several optional programs which offer additional
scholarship opportunities are also
available. We urge everyone to read about the various programs available through
the Junior Bowlers Tour and feel free to ask questions. Any additional information which may be needed can be obtained by contacting the JBT through e-mail or
by telephone.
JBT LEADERS
Each conference maintains a point standings for all bowlers, (in both the scratch and the handicap
division), which are earned based on the bowler's final position finish in each event.
The leaders are posted on this website and in the JBT News. These point
standings help determine eligibility for special events, as well as helping to determine the
end-of-the-season award winners.
JBT UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The JBT season begins in mid-September and continues
through the following August. Along with the standard one-day singles events, the JBT
offers special events such as Adult-Junior Tournaments, The Paul Forry Memorial Thanksgiving Classic,
the Super-Match Game Tournament, the JBT Masters Tournament, the Buddies Pro
Shop Open, the Conference Invitational Tournaments, The Nerve-Wracker, the

*** IMPORTANT ***
With the start of the 2006-07 season, the Junior Bowlers Tour and almost every large tournament group in the country has elected not to have their events USBC-certified. The USBC now requires that all certified events deposit their scholarship money with them. This would cost the JBT scholarship fund a huge amount of interest, based on the USBC's "administrative fees" and their investing practices. The JBT would lose the Challenge Tournament, the Masters and some other events that are funded by the interest earned throughout the year. We are not willing to sacrifice those events.
There have been some FALSE RUMORS circulating that bowling in the JBT would make you ineligible for USBC-certified events or for college bowling. This, of course, is NOT TRUE. As long as we do not break any of their eligibility rules (which we won't), this will not happen. Almost all high school leagues and tournaments throughout the country are not certified and there are many uncertified leagues and tournaments. THIS BREAKS NO RULES; YOU ARE IN NO JEOPARDY!
The people spreading these rumors are uneducated in the rules of junior bowling. We have been running the JBT for 35 years and would never jeopardize our bowlers in any way. If anyone has any questions regarding this matter, feel free to contact us at JBTBoss1@aol.com or (973) 423-3339. This invitation is also extended to those people who are spreading these rumors....give us a call and we'll clear up whatever has confused you.
PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO YOUR FELLOW BOWLERS. We do not want them to miss out on bowling in Junior Bowlers Tour tournaments because they have been given incorrect information by misguided individuals who do not understand the rules.
Feel free to contact the Junior Bowlers Tour at any time with questions, suggestions, etc.
