One division for all bowlers...modified scratch/handicap format makes everyone competitive.
$500 First Place Scholarship prize Guaranteed. Four-game qualifying round (80% of field
advances) followed by a series of two-game matches; when bowlers split the games, one-ball roll-
off will determine who advances to next round.
Since the creation of the modified scratch/handicap format, scratch bowlers have won the
tournament five times, while handicap bowlers have won three times. This format has given
everyone a chance to win!

prize; $25,000 in total scholarships to be awarded. One of the tournaments everyone looks
forward to for the entire year. Twelve qualifying games (6 house shot - 6 VERY tough shot)
determine which 40% of the bowlers advance to second day of competition for scratch bowlers.
Handicap division is Saturday only.

Open to all bowlers who have competed in a minimum of 5 JBT events in the 2016-17 season.
$10,000 in scholarship prizes to be awarded, with a top prize of $1,000 in each division.
Over 100 bowlers have earned free entries to this event and 80 bowlers have earned free
bracket entries to be used here. Four squads will be held on Saturday to determine which bowlers
will advance to Sunday's final rounds of competition.

Another event that everyone looks forward to as the season winds to a close. $2,000 top
scholarship prize guaranteed in the open division and $500 guaranteed in the 175-and-
under average division. Both are scratch events. The tournament is sponsored by long-time
JBT supporter Chris Forry who owns Buddies Pro Shop (inside Nutmeg Bowl), and Chris always
comes up with a challenging lane condition to test the bowlers. Thirty-two bowlers in the open
division will advance to Sunday's finals. The 175-and-under division will be held on Saturday only.

The greatest bowlers in JBT history come together once a year to compete with and against each
other. Forty-two years of champions ages 6-60 are eligible for this event which features three
divisions in the qualifying rounds (adult, junior scratch, junior handicap). The unique finals format
will determine one overall champion. Come battle with the best the JBT has ever seen.
In order to be eligible to compete in the junior handicap division, bowlers must have a minimum of
21 games in JBT competition during the 2016-17 season.

Additional dates and locations will be added as they are scheduled. The 2016-17 Junior Bowlers Tour season will conclude in August 2017.
